Cameron's Story

Cameron Mofid is an American world traveler and social entrepreneur. By the age of 24, he visited 194 of the world’s 195 countries, fostering a deep understanding of global cultures and issues.

Raised in San Diego, California, Cameron was a competitive tennis player who ranked internationally on the ITF Junior Tour. After transitioning from the sport, he pursued higher education at the University of Miami. Earning his BBA in Finance and Management in just three years, with magna cum laude honors, Cameron then went on to complete his MBA at the University of Miami, graduating as valedictorian.

Following his university studies, Cameron founded Humanity Effect, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in Makoko, a slum in Lagos, Nigeria. The organization operates two schools and an orphanage, positively impacting the lives of over 750 children.

Cameron is driven to use his diverse experiences—both educational and global—to create meaningful social change around the world.
