Keynote Description

Adversity is an inherent part of life. The real question isn’t how to avoid it—it’s how to use it.

Every person and every organization will face adversity. The difference is whether it becomes something that holds you back—or something that moves you forward. Traveling through 195 countries, Cameron witnessed how people around the world overcome unimaginable hardship, from war to extreme poverty.

After meeting children in a slum in Nigeria, he was inspired to start Humanity Effect, a nonprofit that has since served over 1,000 children through two schools and an orphanage. He shares the powerful stories of these children, along with others from his journey, to show how adversity can become the foundation for a more purposeful life and a driving force for meaningful growth.
